I was able to get a hobby box for only $200.00 back on 12/5/24 from Collectiblecorner. The box was kind of a hot box. It had 9 or 10 glows, a hex, and this. Was really wild at the time. I have a video of it on my Instagram CollectiblesAnonymous.

They tried to give me a case of Collectors Boosters to make up for my loss, but they weren’t at fault so there was no way I could accept that. Undaunted, their next big break, they manufactured a purchase malfunction and ended up giving me the Barreler Super as a gift 🤯 What a great feeling to have people care so much for you!

Billy is the star sidekick with the big youthful personality (and hopefully has a good run left in that role).

CJ is an old man now in dog years and has been my loyal and devoted companion for a long time. If I can wake and be the man CJ thinks I am…then I’ve added a positive contribution to the world that day.

Aside from very personal things done for me by family this was the most touching gift I’ve ever received and I appreciate Chris’ thoughtfulness and our entire relationship with everyone at Cardio.

This is the only Super I’ve ever pulled myself, and that makes it irreplaceable. It happened during a case rip of Hobby boxes with a business partner, and when Chief peeked out of the pack, I couldn’t believe it. This card is a lifetime PC piece—it’s simply not for sale. Pulling it was one of the most exciting moments of my collecting journey.

This gem surfaced on eBay while I was in the middle of livestreaming a BoBA break. At first, I considered negotiating, but my instincts told me otherwise—I hit the Buy-It-Now button without hesitation. As a diehard Texas Longhorns fan, I have a special affinity for cards tied to the University of Texas, and this one fits the bill perfectly. I’m hoping to have it signed at a Longhorns game in the near future—Kevin Durant makes plenty of offseason appearances, so fingers crossed!

The Draco Super was an eBay steal—the asking price was surprisingly reasonable for such a standout card, so I snapped it up immediately. The artwork is phenomenal, inspired by Drake Maye’s rookie year, and the card’s versatility is unmatched. It’s playable in both SPEC and APEX decks, making it not just a visual masterpiece but also a strategic powerhouse in my collection.

I am on a hunt for all supers but certain ones i am more drawn to because of who inspired their hero. Grandmama is high up on that list as I was a big LJ fan as a kid and his 4 point play is a core memory of mine. I also loved the old Grandmama commercials! So I did place a higher bid than I would have for other 190 supers, but it sold for more than I was anticipating. After I won it I got a message on a listing of mine and they asked me if I was the one who won the card. I still don‘t know how they found me like that but I told him indeed I did. He explained he is a LJ super collector and wanged me to explain why it went for so much more than he is used to paying for LJ 1/1‘s. I took the time to explain and he ended up wishing me luck in the apex tournaments going forward!

About a month ago Bsusko posted a few photos that his cousin took at a card show of BOBA cards. My eyes were instantly drawn to two cards – a Waddler Super and and a Jeeves Super...my heart started to race as the listed prices I was more than willing to pay! I instantly reached out to Bsusko, who thankfully I have done many deals with through the years. He told me his cousin was still at the show. I told him if his cousin could make the deal for me I would pay the seller directly. To my surprise and excitement his cousin just walked back and bought it with his own money! I obviously instantly sent him back the money and an extra $100 as a small token of my appreciation. I also wanted to hook Bsusko up, as without him i wasn‘t getting the card. I decided to give him a slab of Red Stooling Hunter, which if you know me you know how important that card is to me!

LeDucky Super might just be my favorite card in the entire BoBA universe. It’s high-powered, features one of the greatest Olympians ever, and the artwork is absolutely breathtaking. I won’t go into detail about what I paid for it, but suffice it to say, this card is staying in my personal collection for life. As the crown jewel of my Best Female Heroes sub-collection, LeDucky is unmatched.

His turn came up he fell asleep while I was carrying him and well to our surprise my boy pulled the shrouded 1/1 on his first pack ever and won the match too! Almost lost it couldn’t believe. It was in a Legends break and since the pack didn’t have a hotdog it was going to either be randomed or go to whoever had the last hot dog in the last pack of the break. Needless to say it was extremely exciting since both methods randomizer and last pack hot dog ended up on me!

This acquisition came via trade—I swapped two 200-power Gum Battlefoil Heroes (Billy and Brandi) with an APEX hopeful to bring home the Swoopes Auto Super. Swoopes holds a special place in my heart; growing up in Houston, I watched her and Cynthia Cooper dominate the WNBA. Plus, I recently became a dad to a daughter, which makes collecting female BoBA Heroes even more meaningful. This card is definitely one of my favorites.
